The racing driver, Team Manager and Ferrari Importer Jacques Swaters peacefully passed away recently, almost 60 years after the foundation of his Racing Team Ecurie Francorchamps.

Thanks to his determination and passion, Jacques has written among the most glorious stories of the Post-War Belgian Automobile Racing and has helped to develop and increase the notoriety of the legendary Ferrari brand.

By setting up a non lucrative event that will celebrate the 60 years of Ecurie Francorchamps on 25-26-27 May 2012, we wish to share with dignity and style the glorious, heroic and romantic racing period. During a week-end, the most beautiful Ferrari will challenge Belgium’s most narrow roads and the mythic Spa Francorchamps Circuit. Thanks to the close collaboration of Jacques Swaters’ daughter Florence, the participants will also attend a unique happening in a private museum where Jacques’ Memory will be commemorated.
